Crystal and Glass Beads

There is an ample variety of crystal beads in the market now a days. They are all very different in appearance and all are very much appreciated by the general public. Artists dedicated to making these beads produce true works of art. The names of the bead types come from either the process by which they are made: lampwork, dichroic, or by the companies that produce them Swaroski, Preciosa, Venetian, Czech.
The colors that can be achieved with glass are spectacular because they can be intense and deep tones as well as light and transparent.

Chestnut. Brown glass beads in different sizes make up this long necklace. It is 38 inches long and has a small lobster clasp to augment its versatility; can be worn as shown in the picture or one long strand or three. Round beads are 8mm and rondelles are 12mm, the small beads are 3mm. Gold spacers are 2.5 mm gold filled . All components are gold filled. Petra Designs
